& Teacher workshops

Outside of the home, the teachers have the greatest impact on the
children. We provide teacher workshops where research-based teaching
strategies are presented. These techniques support the progressive
Honduras National Curriculum.
&
Teaching supplies
We provide school clocks so that the children can learn how to tell
time, calculators to help the children memorize the multiplication
tables, science supplies like thermometers and magnifying glasses and
many other materials that facilitate the learning process.
& School supplies for the
children
Children sometimes stay away from school because they don’t have the
necessary school supplies. We provide pencils, paper, etc.
& School libraries

People learn to read by reading. We have recently donated over 5,000
books to create school libraries.
Fun educational incentives We provide the funds and help the teachers
organize poetry contests, science fairs and other educational activities
that contribute to the school program.
& The Scout Program
We want the children to grow as responsible human beings who at the same
time protect the environment. What’s better than a Scout program to
achieve that goal? We are developing that project along with the one
that follows. The Music Program Schools don’t have after school
programs. Music would help expand the horizons of the students and the
community.
